H. G. CO. Qt. in Aqua.

Some thing NEW!

This Marked Hemi Water Bottle has not been seen by anyone I know,
So far.
So if you have this bottle I'd really like to hear from you!

Ice blue quart, I'm calling it The Deco Bottle.

Ok , from left to right from here on!

1 Pint circa 1860 Wax sealer, sheared lip with original metal lid,
H.G.Co. midget with patent date all on one line,
Widemouth pint Globe jar with original closure.

Very Light Amber Yellow,
Orange Amber,
Brown Amber,
All Globe qt. jars

Dark Red Amber,
Middle one is just a tad Redder,
As close to Black as I will ever get,
light goes through at the bottom where the glass is thin, Black Amber.

Patent Sept. 18 1860, aqua , early Wax Sealer,
early top seal jar , Lid marked: Patent applied for Cin. O.
Very early Wax Sealer with original Glass lid, sheared lip, Hemi Blue,
Royal jar ,Light Green, one little Milkglass swirl,
all Original (except the sugar bowl lid on the 1860 wax sealer).
All Quarts

Unusual Hemingray Water Bottle in that it has a Gold Carnival color,
A process that they used on some Insulators too!

Here are presidents Abe & George 1qt water bottles.

Lions Head Fountain & Waterfall, 1 qt.

They got in to the refrigerator wars with the G. E. on the right,
& the Save With Ice on the left.
Sort of like selling guns to both sides of a war !

These two are Wishing Well pints

This is the second of these I've found.
The Rope Bottle.
Marked in Ice blue, the rope border that encircles the front
makes me wonder if this had Roy Rogers,
Hopalong Cassidy or Maybe Gene Autry on label.
The original lid is steel not aluminum & painted in Red Lacquer,
Like for apple juice?

Any way a opening this big had to have a label of some sort.

H. G. Co. water bottles came in three sizes , 1/2 gal., qt., pt. & four colors that I know of,
green, ice aqua, amber & carnival.
Most have plain caps except the GE which is marked GE,
some were marked Hemingray ,Muncie Ind.
They were made in the early 30's by H. G. Co. & were made by Owens Illinois after 1933.

I don't know a lot about insulators, but I know what I like!
